Born in Los Angeles and a USC graduate, Gayle's freelance photography career began in 1987. Her first clientele were female fitness instructors and dancers at the gym. While living in Boston in the early 90's she developed a widely popular boudoir portrait business.

Her love of photography began while living in Indonesia for two years in the 70's, sending series of pictures of her surroundings to family and friends in the United States. Today Gayle's love of portrait making expresses her natural warmth and innate ability for building relationships with people through her art.

Gayle's background includes production stills for television (Dancing with the Stars, 2006, The Biggest Loser and Comedy Central in 2007, and an Animal Planet series in 1996), feature films, headshots, family portraits, model portfolios, weddings and events, black and white fine art, as well as editorial and product photography for The Palisades Post and Malibu magazine, respectively. Some of her corporate clients include Skechers, U.S.A., Spectrum Fitness Club and Target. When photographing people, Gayle uses lighting that finds the light within her subjects.

A Pacific Palisades, California resident, Gayle is most recognized for her original black and white feminine art. Her portraits of women have been featured nationally three times: twice in "Woman's Own" magazine (in 2001 and 2003), and on NBC's "The Other Half" with Dick Clark and Danny Bonaduce in 2001.

Her work has been shown at Phyllis Morris Gallery in Beverly Hills in 2002; in Long Beach at The Coffeehaven in 2003; in Pacific Palisades at Roy Robbins Gifts & Stationery in 2005 and The Hidden Cafe in 2006; and currently at Flazh! Alley in San Pedro.
